I started my working life as a teaching assistant in specialist education provisions. This role also introduced me to a range of therapists and I eventually decided to train as an Occupational Therapist myself. I obtained a First Class Honours Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Salford in 2011 and went on to gain experience as and OT on an inpatient CAMHS service before moving on to working in a specialist education college for Autistic Individuals and those with complex needs. Here I completed my PGCert in Sensory Integration and progressed to working as an OT lead within a large MDT. I eventually moved on to join a newly opening company and oversaw the development of therapeutic services for their Ofsted registered children’s homes and CQC post 16 domiciliary care service, aimed specifically at autistic individuals. After almost 7 years wit the company I felt it was time for a change and was confident that I was leaving them with solid therapeutic foundations for effectively supporting their young people.

I joined the Sundial Therapy team in July 2023 and my aim is to further develop the well establish therapy team at Wargrave House School and Ascent College so that we can achieve the goal of becoming the world leading example of how a therapy service for autistic individuals should run.


I love to cook and am a keen baker, bringing in treats for a quick pick me up for the team every now and again! I enjoy singing, am a member of a choral society and Gilbert and Sullivan light opera group, and can often be heard signing at family and friends celebrations. I enjoy dancing, swimming, yoga and walking and hill climbing which keeps me physically fit and am a qualified Reiki practitioner which helps to maintain my mental wellbeing.
