Becky Switonski

Speech and Language Therapist
BSc (Hons) Physiology, MSc Language Pathology, CertMRCSLT, hcpc.

My name is Becky and I’m one of the speech and language therapists at Sundial. I joined the team in 2017 and have worked with students and learners across primary, secondary and college ages.

I previously worked as a speech and language therapist in a community NHS team supporting adults with learning disabilities with both their communication and dysphagia needs. Prior to becoming a speech and language therapist I supported disabled children in various settings including mainstream and SEN schools, family homes and short breaks services.

My particular areas of interest are gestalt language processing, neurodiversity affirming therapy support and AAC (alternative and augmentative communication). I am a Talking Mats licensed trainer, a Natural Language Acquisition trained clinician and an AAC and GLP trained clinician. I am passionate about working in a strengths-based way and providing neurodiversity affirming support to everyone I work with.
